New Hanover County Candidates Forums Rescheduled

WILMINGTON -- The Candidate Forums sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Lower Cape Fear along with WECT has been rescheduled. The Legislative Candidates forum originally scheduled for Oct. 2 will now be held at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15. The County Commissioners and the School Board Candidates will air their views at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4. The forums are open to the public and will be held at the New Hanover County Senior Resource Center, 2222 S College Road.

Wednesday, October 10, 2018
Leland Town Hall
6:00 pm


The event includes candidate forums for US House of Representatives District 7, State Senate 8 and State House 18 and a meet and greet for candidates for House District 17, County Commissioner, and Board Of Education

Wednesday, October 17, 2018
Shallotte Middle School
6:00 P.M.



The event includes candidate forums for U.S. House Of Representatives District 7, and State Senate 8 and a Meet And Greet for candidates For House District 17, County Commissioner and Board Of Education


Cosponsors for the forums include ABCPOA, Brunswick County Chamber Of Commerce, Concerned Citizens Of Northern Brunswick County, New Hanover & Brunswick County Chapters Of the NAACP.
