The League of Women Voters of the Lower Cape Fear is made up of a diverse group of people from Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender counties -- People just like you.
Our History
The League of Women Voters was first founded in 1920 out of the Women's Suffrage Movement. The League of Women Voters of the Lower Cape Fear was first founded in 1962 and disbanded in 1967. LWV-LCF reformed and reorganized in 1972 and has been active in the region ever since.
